There are many things to consider when traveling, if you’re a budget traveler or not. You obviously do not have the money for your trip in lieu of lost or stolen. You also want to keep you and other passengers to safety.
Here are some tips to follow to make your trip enjoyable and safe in a foreign country.
1. Have a valid passport and necessary visas for your trip. Make two copies of your passport. Keep one in a separate part of your luggage travel and other out with someone at home.
2. Be aware of travel warnings for the country you visit. More information on the safety and security conditions at your destination.
3. Travel Insurance Insurance!
4. Make sure you have been immunized against any infectious disease that leads to the area you are traveling.

Vietnam has become one of the most interesting travel destinations for two main reasons. One is because it offers a great bargain for budget conscious tourists and two is because the people in Vietnam are very warm and welcoming to their visitors.

The domestic transportation is also very budget-friendly. An open tourist bus ticket from Saigon going to Hanoi is only around $30.00 and as a tourist, you get to witness some of the country’s best sceneries and breathtaking views. If you do not want to take the bus, you have the option to take comfortable trains or planes. The 2-hour flight going to Hanoi from Saigon costs around $100.00. Is Christmas in France and different from Christmas anywhere else? Well I guess that depends where you come from. For me as an Englishman there are quite a few similarities and, of course, quite a few differences.
Similar things would be Santa Claus (Père Noël) all over the place, shops suddenly hiding all the useful things and filing their shelves with toys instead, streets lit up and decorated, that kind of thing. Certainly something for the bucket list! Going on safari has to be a real treat for the senses. Everyday you wake and jump on that Game viewer, heading off on another action packed adventure into the African Bush. I’ve been there and done it, and all I can say is – definitely a good life experience.
Just imagine how you would feel when you stop and have a herd of elephant walk past the vehicle literally an arms length from you – so close you can smell them, and see every large body hair, and best of all make that trans-species eye contact which always puts one onto a high afterwards. Of course, at the time you would probably be holding your breath trying to melt into the frame of the Landrover for fear of being overly-intrusive towards the Pachyderms trundling past. But I highly recommend it – even at the expense of having to change your underwear! Continue Reading »

Checking in online will save you a lot of time and money. First, you can more often than not change your seating online when you are checking in. Also, some airlines charge a lower fee checking in your luggage online verses at the ticket counter.
Also tracking your flight and weather conditions can save you much unneeded stress. Airlines will inform you of any delays ahead of time if your flight is not arriving as scheduled.
