Some other great ones include Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, Spamalot, and the increasingly popular show titled The Producers.

With going to Broadway becoming more and more popular among families there are also great shows for children that bring a large amount entertainment to adults as well. Tarzan, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Momma Mia! are known for being great shows for children. However, some “kid friendly” broadway shows have been known to have some parts that can scare small children (such as the witch in “Wicked.”) There are also some shows that might raise some of those deep questions that youngsters often ask… the ones parents are never prepared for. With this being said, it’s important for anyone taking a child to a show to know what kind of information it contains as well as any monsters, however small their part might be, that might be terrifying to your kids. It’s also to know your little one’s preferences before seeing a show so that both you and your kids can have an enjoyable, non-scary experience.
